The Southern Kentucky Book Fest partners will bring Katie Pickard Fawcett, the winner of the fifth annual WKU Libraries' Evelyn Thurman Young Readers Book Award to Bowling Green for this year's Fall into Books program. Ms. Fawcett will visit two area schools, and she will be honored at a luncheon on Friday, February 18, 2011. SOKY Book Fest is a partnership project of WKU Libraries, Warren County Public Library, and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The partnership's mission is to encourage reading and the love of books and to be a positive force in promoting literacy in the region and state.
