BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Southern Kentucky Festival of Books announces the nominees for the Kentucky Literary Awards for excellence in fiction and non-fiction publications. The winners in each category will be announced at the book festival author’s reception on Friday, April 11, 2003, and will be given a commemorative certificate and a cash prize of $1,000.

The judges are: Terri Kirk, librarian at Reidland and former president of the Kentucky Library Association; Jesse Mountjoy, an Owensboro attorney with Sullivan, Mountjoy, Stainback & Miller; Dr. Bob Darrell, professor of English at Kentucky Wesleyan; Keith Runyon, the Courier-Journal’s book editor; and Jonathan Jeffrey, Special Collections Librarian at WKU’s Kentucky Library.
