The Southern Kentucky Book Fest, presented by Western Kentucky University Libraries, Bowling Green Public Library and Barnes & Noble Booksellers, is the state’s largest literary event. Proceeds from the Book Fest are used for the promotion of literacy in our community.

Held annually during National Library Week, the festival is a two-day event. Day 1 is devoted to schoolchildren. Children have the opportunity to meet their favorite authors, participate in dramatic and

musical performances, and exercise their creativity in the make and do room. Day 2 is the major
